We had this very high quality reproduction of Modigliani's 1917 Recumbent Nude painted in oils on canvas for one our customers.
Born in Italy, Amedeo Modigliani was a painter and sculptor who worked mainly in France. He is known for his modern style portraits characterized by a surreal elongation of faces, necks, and figures; works which, although weren't well received during his lifetime, now fetch millions of dollars at auction houses like Christie's and Sotheby's.
Given its size, the painting needed a strong frame so our customer chose a striking 80mm wide ornate gold picture moulding, making this display the centrepiece they were looking for.
Please get in touch if you have an oil painting you would like to have framed.
