Meet Irma, the pig, naively painted in oils on canvas.

Our customer wanted a fairly substantial frame in order to make an eye catching display for this wonderful piece of vintage folk art.

After looking through various options, we eventually chose this wide black reverse profile moulding combined with a slip moulding finished in gold leaf-effect.

Our framers used spring clips to hold the oil painting in place rather than inserting screws directly into the back of this antique canvas.
