This is an original stretched oil on canvas by Koby Feldmos, called The Power Of The Stag.

People might think of oil paintings as old fashioned, but this artist is anything but!

He began his career as a jewelry designer for his family's business. Since becoming a painter he has developed a unique style full of dynamic and flowing, bright and lively colours that illuminate any room, and look better the closer you get.

To off-set the array of colours on the canvas we worked with the customer to find a simple contemporary box frame (also known as a floating frame due to the effect it creates) which was further enhanced by a 'shadow gap' - a space between the edges of the artwork and the white wooden moulding:

Sometimes, a contemporary stretched canvas can look great unframed however by framing it in this way you can still create a subtle understated look whilst also protecting it (especially the corners) from potential damage.

We're really pleased to have framed this, and think it will look great up on display.
