Old Key and Door Sign framed - Low reflective glass

This door sign and key were brought in by a customer who had grown up at number 16 and wanted to take the memory with them - and what better way?

We chose a plain wood moulding which was deep enough to hold the key and wooden plaque and made a bespoke spacer to stop the glass touching it. A simple off white mount leaves the frame with clean lines so all of the attention is drawn into the objects.

The key is hand stitched in place to avoid using any adhesives which can effect the colouring of the metal over time.
