Decorative fan framing project - Suedette mount

This traditional decorative fan was framed using an ornate silver picture frame and a contrasting suedette mount board.

The fan was hand stitched in place and therefore the mount fixing method is fully reversible and the fan could be easily removed from its mount at a future date if needed.

We extended the rebate of the frame with a custom box and made a bespoke spacer to keep the glass away from the object.
