Coastal Watercolour Framed in Period Frame - Custom Wash Lines

This charming original watercolour was brought to us by a good customer of ours who wanted it framed in a reproduction period frame.

Together we chose a 3'' wide Classic Reeded closed corner frame from our Traditional English Handmade Collection, finished in a dark antique gold colour (link below).

We used a thicker mount - which adds an extra elegance - in an off white colour, and, as a finishing touch, also applied custom wash lines for a little traditional detail.

As proud members of the Fine Art Trade Guild, wash lines are available on all projects here at Brampton Picture Framing.

Finally, we glazed it using Tru Vue Conservation UV Filter Glass to protect it from fading. Read more about this, and the other types of specialist glass we have available, below.
