Framed Signed 2012 Jessica Ennis Shirt

Not long after the London 2012 Olympics, a treasured Team GB shirt, signed by Jessica Ennis-Hill, was brought in to us to frame.

We have framed hundreds of sports shirts over the years at Brampton Picture Framing, using a fully reversible method of framing which involves hand stitching your shirt in to position, unlike other framers who might use low-cost solutions such as adhesives and tapes which, over time, can fail and even damage the fabric.

Although more time-consuming, our method ensures that valuable memorabilia will remain in virtually perfect condition should the owner ever wish to remove the item, or a new owner wish to have the item reframed.

To pick out the different shades of blue used in the shirt's Union Jack flag design - as well as the white background - we displayed it against a vivid blue mount, with a white top mount and smoky blue 'reveal' underneath, and surrounded it with a timeless dark navy frame - 150641000 - from our Confetti collection.
