Here's a cricket shirt worn by Jason Holder in the Twenty20 International series in December 2023, during England’s tour of the West Indies.
It was brought into us by a family member of one of the players, and a very good customer of ours, who knew he wanted a slim black contemporary style frame but wasn't sure about the mount colour. Together we looked at various colour combinations, and eventually came up with a maroon undermount and mustard bespoke spaces around the inner edges of the frame to pick out both of the main colours in the shirt.
We also added a gold nameplate to the front, etched with details of the match, which makes a great finishing touch.
For your most treasured items, such as medals and memorabilia, pinning a nameplate to the front of the frame is a great way to elevate the overall display, as well as personalising it.
We use nameplates which are made in the UK and come in various sizes and colours - including silver plate and gold leaf - and which are used to enhance frames in some of the world’s most prestigious museums and galleries.
If you have a treasured shirt you would like to protect and display in frame book an appointment at our Showroom here in Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District for a no obligation quote.
