A black and white photograph of Sheffield’s Portland Works forms the basis of this poster, designed by Canadian artist Wildago as part of a campaign to save the old cutlery factory.

It’s now over 10 years since this iconic grade2* listed building - built Sheffield in 1879 and often referred to as the birthplace of stainless steel cutlery manufacturing - began its transformation into a thriving cooperative of craftspeople and independent businesses.

Thanks to our customers, we get to learn more about successful community efforts like this, as well as help to preserve a piece of local history!
