Here is a great set of Beatles Posters, brought in by a customer who wanted to display them in a bright, colourful way.
We decided on four different colours from the same moulding collection in order maintain a theme throughout the display.
Instead of adding a mount, we 'close' framed the posters, meaning the moulding was placed right upto to the edge of the artwork so we made sure to add a spacer.
If you’d like to have an item framed but - for aesthetic or cost reasons - you’d rather not have a mount surrounding it, we recommend adding a ‘spacer’ as this will create a small amount of space between the picture and the glass.
With a mount or a spacer, the glass isn’t able to touch the artwork meaning that it won’t (irreversibly) stick to your picture over time, which can be quite a common problem with high gloss prints and photographs. Please get in touch if you would like more advice on this.
