It was very difficult to photo.... this poster was huge and the photos do not convey the sheer size of this monster poster!
Our customer traveled from London to bring the poster to us for framing, knowing we would take on the job at a reasonable price. The poster was an original poster for the film Bird of Paradise, a 1932 film directed by King Vidor.
The size was 240 x 160 cm !
The frame needed to be narrow in width, yet deep and strong enough to hold the glazing. A deep rebated framed was sourced and used. We were pleased with the outcome and the customer was too and very kindly left us this feedback!
'We had a challenging job - a huge 1930s film poster originally designed for displaying in the Paris Metro. Having been quoted astronomical sums by a well-known London framer we decided to take the job to Brampton. Enthusiastic, friendly service and a very reasonable quote made the return journey from London easily worthwhile, and the results are first-rate, as the team really took the time to get every detail right'
