This collection of frames was commissioned by Erewash Museum in Derbyshire as part of a memorial exhibition for The Great War.
We were honored to be part of this project and we're very proud of the finished frames!
We chose a heavy wooden moulding from the Larson Juhl Sevilla collection - reference:750542 and a simple off white mount which created this ornate, antique looking frame but didn't detract from the text inside.
Each frame also had Tru Vue Ultra Vue glass which has less than 1% light reflection. This glass is great for large pieces like this as it keeps the reflection down and the clarity as high as possible, meaning the text can be seen from all angles.
All five frames were completed to the same spec and fixed with mirror plates for hanging in a secure way so there was no risk of damage when they were on display.
We have made many frames for Museums and Galleries, so if there is anything you need, please get in touch and we will be glad to help.
