This fantastic canvas was a reproduction of a mural done by a street artist by the name of Faith47. It was originally painted on a multi-story wall in Cape Town as part of a crowd-funded project which aims to get more street lights installed into the poorer areas of the city, so it is am extremely important piece of art.
This large canvas was framed here in the workshop using a canvas box frame - or floating frame as they are commonly known. The rusty colours in the wooden frame really compliment the canvas, and as it sits slightly away from the edge of the frame, nothing is covered up by a frame rebate.
We've framed a huge amount of canvases, from GCSE Art pieces to major exhibition collections, and our framers have years of experience with hand stretching canvases and mounting them into frames so that they are ready to hang.
Please get in touch if you have a large (or small!) canvas that needs framing.
