Tower of London Poppy framed

This beautiful ceramic poppy is one of the 888,246 that were displayed in the stunning installation at the Tower of London, and subsequently around the country, before being auctioned to the public with proceeds going to charitable causes.

Our customer had seen the other ceramic poppies we had framed here but wanted something a little brighter and more in keeping with their décor, and so we came up with this alternative design using the ornate gold frame ref. 573IG from our Imperial collection, which has been manufactured extra-deep to accommodate such 3D items.

Coupled with a neutral backing and grass-green windowmount surrounding the poppy, we think this results in a modern yet authentic experience that really allows the crimson red of the poppy ceramic to stand out.
