Islamic Prayer Ceramic Tiles

To adequately protect these beautiful Islamic Prayer tiles from dust and damage, we created a recess using foamboard, into which the tile was sat. A crisp black mountboard with black core was placed on top of this just slightly overlapping the edges, to hold the tile securely in place and create an attractive finish.

The ornate frame ref. 643IB from our Imperial range was chosen as the intricate details were similar in style to the painstaking artwork that had been painted onto the tiles. This also gave us extra depth to accommodate the thick ceramic with no danger of it being pressed or twisted in any way.
