Antique insect sketches framed - Lancaster 269260

These antique prints were brought into us by a collector who wanted to display them as a triptych, in a modern style.

So we chose a simple stained moulding from the Larson Juhl Lancaster collection (269260) to match the colouring in the sketches.

The double mount is slightly different on each piece as we picked out the colours of each sketch with a thin line of the bottom mount showing.

The mounts and artwork are set back from the UV protected glass by making a bespoke spacer to fit under the rebate of the frame - which adds a little more depth to the frame.

These simple sketches have been transformed into a great display piece and we're really pleased with them.
