Framed Dramatic Storm Print

We love this dramatic limited edition print of a storm cloud over water which was brought in to us to frame.

Together with the customer we decided to 'close frame' the print as using a window mount would have covered up the artist's signature and edition number. (Another option in this instance would have been to 'float frame' the paper. In both cases a 1.5mm spacer needs to be placed between the glass and the artwork to prevent it from sticking over time and damaging the print.)

The moulding is from a stunning collection called Lucerne - 650792 - and is painted in similar colours to the print. It 'steps down' in to the artwork which cleverly focuses your attention on the picture.

Low reflective glass makes a real difference to the finish of the frame reducing reflections to less than 1% and providing 70% UV filter.
