Windmill painting framed - Framed oil painting

This antique oil painting of a windmill was brought into us by a collector, who wanted it framed traditionally.

We chose this 4" wide frame from our Traditional English Frames range.

These are all handmade to order, so we asked for the additional corner decorations to be added to the frame and finished in a dark antique colour. We also added the antique wash to give it an aged effect.

Although the subject of this painting is quite subtle, this decorative frame transforms it into a great display piece.
