Framed Multi Aperture Mount for Six Postcards

Using our computerised mountboard cutter, we cut this multi aperture mount to display the six postcards sent to our customer from his brother.

Being fans of the outdoors, and having been brought up in Wales, the scenes of rock climbers in the Welsh countryside had reminded his brother of him.

Our customer wanted them mounted against a light-coloured background, so to create some definition between the white border of the cards and the pale colour of the mount we float mounted each of them against a black background before placing the pale mount with the six windows over the top.

Our Framers used a thicker top mount – 3.5mm rather than the usual 1.4mm – to add more depth, before glazing and finishing with a bronze scoop profile from our Andover collection - one of the many sustainable, FSC® accredited picture mouldings available here at our Showroom here in Derbyshire.
