Whilst travelling around the U.S. on holiday our customer managed to pick up a total of 24 different beer mats - all from the same brewery! - which he brought to us as he wanted to display them in a frame on the wall of his local pub.
Given the various shapes, colours and sizes of the mats, we spent time with our customer deciding on the best way to arrange them.
Once we'd agreed on a layout, we created a mount with 24 equally-sized square apertures cut into it which brought a uniformity to the design as well as creating a gap between the mats and the glass so they wouldn't stick together over time.
Finally our customer chose a wooden moulding stained mid-grey - allowing the grain to show through - to complement the colours used in the artwork.
If you have an unusual framing project which requires a multi aperture mount, our computerised mountboard cutters are just what you need! Call us on 01246 554338 or email sales@bramptonframing.com for a no obligation quote.
