Medal Framing with Museum Grade Tru Vue Glazing

We were asked to frame this extensive set of medals in such a way that our customer would be able to access them again should he wish to wear them in the future.

Fortunately, the medals were securely fixed to their mounting bar, meaning that we could use this underlying structure to hold them in place once inside the frame.

A dark green undermount together with a dark brown stained picture moulding with a distressed gold inner slip creates a timeless display for this precious collection.

Glazed with specialist glass - Tru Vue™ Museum - providing 99% protection against harmful UV rays as well as stunning clarity with its anti-reflective coating - the finishing touch was to attach the backing board using brass turn-buttons so that the customer is able to remove the back themselves.
