Stunning Fox portrait - Limited edition framing

This is a fantastic limited edition print called 'Silent Watch' by artist Moira de Lavenu.

The customer had bought it from an exhibition and wanted it remounting and framing to a conservation standard.

We chose a simple, light cream, double mount for this piece as the white was too stark and distracting for the colours in the print. These picture mounts are all cut to order, so we chose to leave a bit of white around the print to show the signature, title and edition number.

Although the customer initially wanted a simple brown wooden frame, after looking through the different options we found this combination which work really well.

Both mouldings are from the Larson Juhl Lancaster collection.

Slip frame = 169250 (sadly no longer available)

The subtle natural colours in the wood work well with the soft colours used in the pastel pencil drawing.
