Aaron Horkey Whalebone Grove

This great Aaron Horkey 2008 limited edition print - Whalebone - was brought in to us by a customer who wanted it framed in a modern way with complimenting mounts.

As he had the Japanese Blood Plate Edition and there were a few small sections of red in the painting, we chose a double mount with a thin wash line to add detail. By creating a subtle line of colour with the undermount, we were able to pick out the colours without dominating the detail.

The customer decided on a black frame from the Larson Juhl Imperial collection which works really well and the ornate detail finishes the project off nicely.
