This black and white cross stitch of the world famous marble statue - David -Michelangelo (1504) was brought into us by a very proud customer who wanted to showcase her work in the most effective way.
As with all needleworks brought into us, we gently stretched the material around a board and hand stitched in place, so no harsh chemicals or adhesives are used; this also mean that it can be taken back out at any time.
We chose a Larson Jhul frame from the Etrusca range with a black core mount to pick out the detail and colouring of the careful stitch work.
The customer chose a low reflective clarity glass to ensure the details of the stitching were not compromised by light reflecting on a standard glass.
