Map of Derbyshire Embroidery - Handmade maps

This is a great example of delicate embroidery - the detailed map looks great!

We hand stretched the artwork around a board and stitched it in place - as seen in the photos. This is a method we use on all fabric framing - so no harsh adhesives are used.

A simple double mount with a black reveal ties in nicely with artwork and creates another layer of detail within the frame.

As the artwork is so detailed, we didn't want to over-complicate the frame, so a simple stained wood moulding was chosen.
