Aboriginal artwork - Museum mount

This vibrant piece of Aboriginal style artwork was brought into us by a customer who had recently spent time in Australia and wanted to display this original artwork in the best way possible.

We chose a lacquered white frame with a double thickness Museum standard mount and low reflective glass to create a contemporary setting for the original artwork.

The clean lines work really well with the bright colours and the traditional dot painting technique used in this piece.

We use a conservation hinging tape to keep it in place so only a very small amount of the artwork is touched by the adhesive and it can be taken back out of the frame if necessary.
