Magic Circle membership framed - Multi aperture framing

We are honored to have framed this piece - from our customer's father who was a member of The Magic Circle and Institute of Magicians.

The original mount was cut by hand to surround the certificate's artwork but the customer wanted to add the medal into the frame while keeping the overall look the same. So our qualified framers used our Gunnar mount cutter to design and cut a mount which would mirror the existing style to the mm which enabled us to create a window for the medal.

We used a museum grade timecare mount to protect the artwork from any acidic mounts commonly used.

The medal was then hand stitched in place so no harsh adhesives were used and it is a completely reversible process if required.

The frame moulding is from the Larson Juhl Soho collection; reference 334084 and it was finished off with Tru Vue UV protected glass.
