Delicate Chinese paper cut out artwork

Our customer bought this extremely delicate paper cutout work in China on their travels and wanted it displayed at home - far too impressive to stay rolled up in a tube!

It has been hand cut from a single piece of paper to create this intricate pattern in traditional form.

Due to the nature of the artwork, we could not use any adhesive or tape and risk it tearing or bending - so we secured it in place by pressing it between the glass and acid-free undermount.

The bright red colours worked well on the bright white undermount and black frame - keep with simple colours meant none of the attention was drawn from the detailed paper.
