This a superb original Victorian watercolour by Thomas Bush Hardy, it has been professionally reframed by our team of in-house Fine Art Trade Guild commended framers.
The painting is signed and titled, The Old Pier, the watercolour features a pier with a ship carrying the French flag leaving the coast behind. The sailor's wives are gathered on the pier watching the sailors leave.
The painting is in good condition, colours are quite vibrant and we have further tried to preserve the colours by using a very high quality, low reflection glass which has 90%+ UV filtration.
The moulding used to frame this painting is 399405, a really excellent quality moulding which had a real authentic aged look, which very much suits this painting.
