Henry Charles Fox was born in London in 1855 and died in April 1929. He was a prolific artist, best know for his superb rural watercolour landscapes. Looking at Fox's paintings is like stepping back in time to Victorian rural Britain. Rural life has changed so much since the time Fox was painting, his work captures what is now regarded as the idealised rural life. Henry Charles Fox's paintings are a wonderful record of Victorian rural England.
